Jason Wilson & Ashara

Jason Wilson is an award-winning Scottish-Canadian musician, bestselling historian and television personality. A two-time Juno Awards nominee and CRMA Winner, his latest project Ashara presents a joyful blend of Scottish folk, global roots, Canadiana and reggae; it's where Scotland meets Jamaica in Canada! Wilson has performed and recorded with – among many others – UB40, Alanis Morissette, Pee Wee Ellis, Jackie Mittoo and was also one half of the Wilson & Swarbrick project with the late English folk icon Dave Swarbrick (Fairport Convention).

Laurel Tubman

Laurel Tubman is one of Toronto’s most versatile and exciting voices. Her abiliity to interpret many musical styles and engage with every crowd she meets makes her a highly sought-after jazz and pop singer in the city. Highlights include performances at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Hillside Festival, the Sony Centre in Toronto, and a two month spell as the Artist-In-Residence at the world-famous New York Bar at the Park Hyatt Tokyo.

Ali Hutton

Ali Hutton is a successful multi-instrumentalist (Bagpipes, Whistle and Guitar, et al) from Methven, Scotland. Hutton has worked with, among others, Capercaillie, Dougie Maclean, Salsa Celtica and Shooglenifty. In 2015 he was nominated for ‘Instrumentalist of the Year’ at the Scots Trad Music Awards, and also won ‘Album of the Year’ for Treacherous Orchestra’s album Grind which he co-produced. Hutton and Ross Ainslie’s recent collaboration ‘Symbiosis’ has received critical acclaim, winning ‘Best Duo’ at the prestigious BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2017. Ali currently performs around the world with Symbiosis, Treacherous Orchestra, Malin Lewis, Finlay Macdonald Band and Jason Wilson and Ashara.
